Ayu's not working today and neither am I nor most of Langkawi. So the plan was to chill out... and my idea of chilling out today was to hit the beach again. Hahaha... cheap lah...
As expected it was busy. We bumped into a worker who works at a mini market near Ayu's place. She was with a group of families having a picnic. They brought home-cooked food and KFC. As soon as they set camp, two of the fathers started setting up the baby's ummmm... what you call it? Swing? I dunno... you know... those springs with the sarong around it and with a rope... that thing... that you put the baby in and it goes up and down? Whatever.... anyway they were setting two units up... climbing the trees and all that. What a humbug. I told Ayu that there was no way my kid is going to get that. Making the baby dependent on unnecessary things. There was a little debate but I was firm. No winners. I just stated what I wanted to say and changed the subject.
Anyway... I was in the sea in a jiffy. It's nice... I'm 70% achieving the tan to match my first name already. Hahaha... after a while, the group seemed to have finished eating and to my horror, the whole gang started to walk over to the water with their plates to wash their plates!!! Geesh!!! And we wonder why our beaches suck... aiyoh... the place had washing facilities lah. It had shower rooms too. Is it so difficult to walk over there to wash? Sigh...
