I had just read about Apple making the changes to the shortcomings (multitasking is one of them) that kept me away from the iPhone not long ago. And then it was confirmed that the iPhone 4G was on its way. You can read about it here. It became a big issue... the missing test phone that is and it landing in the wrong hands. I have always liked the iPhone for its technology but not its functionality. That is why my ex-boss was surprised when he called me from Singapore to ask me if I wanted it since he was there when it first launched and I told him I was not interested. I was happy with my Nokia N95. I'm not going to trade that off with something that merely looks nice. It means nothing if something looks nice and does not have the functionality that you need. Same applies for hoochy-mamas... no point if they just look good. Performance is crucial too.

Then I read about the Nokia N8... and that they have just upgraded the phone's camera sensor chip... you see, to me the chip is more important than the megapixel... and Xenon flash now... about time too... and that they were working with Dolby... and the phone has a HDMI connector. The phone doesn't look cool but that never bothered me... it has always been about functionality. So, I may stay loyal... and I have been a Nokia fan-boy for over 10 years.

Which will it be? Time will tell... both are expected to be released in the 3rd quarter...
