I went for my check up today at the hospital's specialist center... Orthopedics. I went in... and handed my appointment card. Was told to have a seat. Then she called me and gave me my number and asked me to wait for my number to be called. I asked her, aren't you supposed to send me for an x-ray first? Oh, really? Yes, really... that's what the appointment card says here. Oh.... please have a seat again, I'll call you. She calls... I approach the counter and she gives me the form and tells me to go for the x-ray. Ummm... and which way is that? You go straight, you don't belok-belok... blablabla...

I find the place and hand my form over to the guy at the counter. He hands it back to me instantly and says your form is empty. You need to fill this part up or we won't know where to x-ray. So... walk back to that nurse and tell her you need to fill this up. Oh... ya ke? Kena suruh doctor la camtu... sigh.. if she were pretty she would be the perfect bimbo. She gets the form filled up and off I go again. Get my scans and hand them over to the nurse and wait. It took about an hour.

My finger's pretty much healed. Doctor says I need to do more physio... and that he will see me again in 4 weeks time. I say ok... then I ask him who do I give my insurance forms to? He says that would be at the counter and they will direct it accordingly. Then he asks me if I am working. I told him I am but I don't really need the MC coz it does not effect my work. Oh, and what do you do? A small chit-chat ensues on what I do and where I work. Then he says... I think I better give you the MC still for formality since you have insurance claims. Whether you take the MC or not is up to you so he writes me an additional 29 days of MC. Most people don't tell us they have insurance claims he explains. And they end up getting less than they should.

So, that's 52 days in total... hmmm.... SOCSO is at RM78.75 per day and my insurance is at RM50 per day (I thinklah)... that's a total of RM6695.00... I already know what I am going to tell the doctor at my next visit... my finger still hurts when I 'dig for gold'... tambah MC boleh? Ada berani? Hahahahaha......
