...Langkawi's roads would be safer and so much more cleaner and needless to say, so will my tires. I remember my elders always scolding me... 'no cow sense' and till today, I have yet to figure out what it REALLY meant. Maybe, just maybe it has to do with what I have to share.
I am sure you have all come across dogs, cats, chickens and God knows what else crossing the roads and highways. Notice how they just know how to hurry up along as you get closer to them? Well... not cows... they just walk across... they don't look left nor do they look right and they sure ain't gonna look back! They just walk and cross without a care in the world... you can be coming at 50kph or 120kph... they don't give a flying F###. They just strut along slowly and you have to hit your brakes. Geesh! And... and... they just shit everywhere... and I mean everywhere. So you have to dodge cow dung too. They are quite a menace...
For those of you who love to drive, like me... Langkawi has its mini Karak Highway.... it's called Jalan Bukit Malut... I was on my way home late last night... alone... so I decided to give it a try at night... nice... made me miss my Beng-Wira. This car's COG is too high and it being an auto tranny, the Overdrive has its limitations. and not so fun. Nothing beats a manual transmission on roads like this. This road is the coastal road from Kuah to the east coast... it's more challenging than Karak coz its bends are tighter. I wish I had my Beng-Wira with me... or a Lancer will suffice... heh, heh, heh...
Talking about Lancers... owning a Lancer is like owning a MyVi on the mainland... everyone has a Lancer here... buat sakit mata je... lepas sakit mata... sakit hati pulak... but then... better than sakit pocket... hahaha...
